Natalie Lender, MD
Partner and Chief Medical Officer
Natalie L. Lender, MD is a psycho-pharmacologist and Certified in the practice of Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Natalie Lender received her medical degree from the Moscow State Medical University (Moscow, Russia). She later graduated from the psychiatric residency-training program at TUFTS University (Boston, MA) in 1998.
Dr. Lender worked as attending psychiatrist at Bournewood Hospital located in Metro Boston, where she practiced general psychiatry and specialized in drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
Dr. Natalie Lender formed Square Medical Group in 2008 and has since developed the practice into a valuable resource for the Greater Boston community. Dr. Lender’s experience includes co-occurring substance use and mental disorders. Dr. Lender also has 20 years of experience in person-centered treatment and program development. She is certified to provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Dr. Lender designs and implements patient care strategy for patients at Square Medical Group. She is most passionate about developing the next phase in integrative care for dual-diagnosis and substance abuse patients.
Partner and Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Gershman is the Chief Executive Officer for Square Medical Group and has held this position since 2011. Jeff graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting. After working in Investment Banking and Healthcare Startups Jeff joined Square Medical Group to help the founder, Dr. Natalie Lender, build her vision for a community focused mental health/substance abuse agency.
Jeff Gershman serves on the board of M.A.S.H (Massachusetts Alliance for Sober Housing).
Partner and Chief Operating Officer
Brad Greenstein is a partner and serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Square Medical Group. In his capacity as COO, he oversees TMS, PHP/IOP, and Residential operations along with business development and merger and acquisition opportunities.
Mr. Greenstein has over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health industry with a focus on leadership, operations, reimbursement strategies, and business development. He has extensive experience with startup organizations, and multi-state systems, as well as program development and new business line expansions.
Mr. Greenstein previously served as the New England Regional Director & CEO of the Boston Center for Addiction Treatment for Recovery Centers of America, Inc. (RCA). He was a part of the original management team tasked with creating the overall business plan for RCA and securing over $300M in private equity funding through Deerfield Management in New York, NY.
Prior to RCA, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Spectrum Health Systems, a comprehensive behavioral healthcare system with operations in multiple states and revenue in excess of $60M.
Mr. Greenstein has also served as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Las Vegas Recovery Center and was involved with the initial startup team which developed the nationally recognized substance abuse treatment agency.
Mr. Greenstein has served on the board of a number of community and national non-profit agencies including Foundation for Recovery, Inc. and PACT Coalition for Safe and Drug-Free Communities. He was also appointed by the State of Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to serve on the State of Nevada Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council along with the State of Nevada Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Advisory Board. He also previously served on the National Advisory Board of SelfRefind, a growing multistate office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) provider.
Vice President of Quality and Compliance
Elaine Stark, Vice President of Quality and Compliance, joined Square Medical Group in 2014. Elaine has worked for government, and both profit and non-profit organizations, in clinical and administrative positions. Prior to coming to Square, Elaine was the Executive Director at Boston Institute for Psychotherapy (BIP), for ten years and served as Chief Administrative Officer for New England Psychiatric Consultants, P.C. (NEPC) for 12 years. She brings significant expertise and experience in contract procurement and administration, program development, Federal and state regulations, as well as healthcare accreditation requirements. Elaine earned a BA from Assumption College with a double major in Psychology and Social Rehabilitation and a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Harvard University with a concentration in Psychology.

Daniel Iannitelli, Director of TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation), joined Square Medical Group in 2020. Daniel earned a BA in Psychology at Bridgewater State University and continued his education with a MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Southern New Hampshire University. While working in an inpatient psychiatric care setting, Daniel discovered his passion for helping others. As Director of TMS, Daniel continues this passion by focusing on growing SMG’s TMS division and improving the accessibility of this innovative treatment for all who need it.
Robin Pape, Billing Manager. Robin joined Square Medical Group in January 2014. She brings many years of medical billing experience to Square. Robin has worked for small and large mental health practices in the South Shore area. As a result of these experiences, she brings with her the knowledge of a variety of medical software programs.
Robin is able to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of medical billing by taking part in webinars and meetings hosted by insurance companies. This knowledge helps her to work through billing challenges and support our patients from a business perspective.
Thomas Healey, LICSW
Tom Healey is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and is the Clinical Director at Square Medical Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from the University of Massachusetts at Boston as well as a Masters degree in Social Work from Salem State University.
Tom has over 30 years’ experience in the counseling and mental health field providing group, individual, family and couples counseling. He has worked in, and consulted to schools, clinics, programs, and a variety of corporations. Tom has also been the Director of two adventure therapy programs and the Clinical Director of a multi-site urban outpatient treatment clinic.
At Square Tom is responsible for oversight and supervision of clinical operations. He is responsible for designing programs using research based best practices that deliver the highest quality of therapeutic services to our clients. Tom also holds faculty appointments at The Boston College School of Social Work and at The Winston School of Education and Social Policy at Merrimack College.
David Selden, LICSW
Clinical Director, River House
David R. Selden, LICSW has over 40 years’ experience in the field of behavioral health. In addition to his work as a clinician, he has served as supervisor, executive level manager and consultant to local and national programs providing mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment services to teens and adults. In addition to his responsibilities at Square Medical Group, he also maintains a private clinical and consulting practice in Salem, Massachusetts and is adjunct faculty at Salem State University in the departments of Social Work and Counseling Psychology.
